Ephesians 4:12, in the New Living Translation says, that because of the various gifts God has given to each of us, our “responsibility is to equip God's people to do his work and build up the church, the body of Christ.” At ICC International we take that instruction very seriously.
We apply this instruction to the “whole person”. Mark in his
gospel, chapter 12, verse 30 tells us that all of us are to “Love the Lord your God with all your HEART and with all your SOUL and with all your MIND and with all your STRENGTH.” Doctor Luke echoes that in his gospel, chapter 10, verse 27 when he basically repeats Mark's verse and adds, “and, Love your neighbour as yourself.”
At ICC, we're driven by Paul telling us to equip others, by Mark (and Luke) telling us to address their emotional, spiritual, intellectual, and physical needs, and then by Luke who tells us we can do this by showing love to others. Finally, Matthew in his gospel, chapter 10, verses 30-46 relates to us that the “least of these” who are hungry, thirsty, estranged, naked, sick, or imprisoned also includes those in the Body of Christ, thus taking us full circle to Paul's instruction of doing all we can to build up the Body.
Now, you know what drives us. If you can identify with what Paul is telling the Ephesian Christians, and what Matthew, Mark and Luke are saying in their gospels, then we believe what drives us, will drive you.
We look forward to being encouraged by your call to say, “Count me in.” And we promise, we'll do all we can to make what you do “count for Him!”
ICC International - Strategic Plan Components
Helping people reach their God-given potential since 1945
Vision Statement
ICC International is committed to helping people develop their bodies, minds, and spirits in a godly way so that they have an opportunity to fulfil the purpose God intended for them.
Mission Statement
ICC International is committed to helping other members of the Body of Christ, specifically those in developing and emerging countries, to become more effective and efficient witnesses for Christ in their own culture, not only in their faith and application of it in their lives, but also in helping each individual develop all their God-given abilities to the glory of God. We do this through our support of schools, churches, and local institutions, providing practical resources (medicine, clean water, sustainable food supplies, educational needs, etc.), and spiritual formation through training and leadership development for the local church pastors and lay workers. The hope of ICC International is to act as "facilitator", working toward sustainability for those receiving the services of ICC International. ICC International is also committed to sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ to the world through the publishing and/or distribution of both the printed and audio/visual formats of scripture and other Christian literature.
